Term 3 - Museum trip

We went to the Auckland Museum to learn about the Myths and Legends of Tonga! We got to hold some Tongan cultural artefacts based on the tradition story "The Rat and the Octopus".

Here we are exploring the rest of the museum!

Welcome to 2019!

Kia ora

We have been having such a busy term in Room 10. Here are some snapshots of things we have been doing at school!

Swimming lessons - Here we are practicing our floating, blowing bubbles, holding our breath and kicking.

Hosting team assembly -  We made Maori Poi to do "Ere Taku Poi".

We made paper dolls to send to Christchurch. We wanted to create a long, long line of paper dolls that show kids of all different cultures, together holding hands, spreading our love for the families who lost loved ones.
